Confidentiality Commitment
At Daughters Who Speak, Inc., we deeply value the privacy and dignity of the women we serve, as well as the integrity of our internal operations. This policy outlines our expectations and obligations related to confidentiality for employees, volunteers, and board members.
1. Respect for Privacy
All personal, financial, and organizational information is considered confidential and should not be disclosed or discussed without proper permission or written authorization from the Executive Director.
2. Secure Handling of Information
- Conversations involving confidential matters must be held privately.
- Documents with sensitive content must be secured at all times.
- Never share information through insecure channels or with unauthorized individuals.
3. Confidentiality During and After Service
Confidential information must remain protected both during and after employment or volunteer service. All such materials must be returned at separation.
4. Consequences of Unauthorized Disclosure
Unauthorized disclosure is a serious violation and may result in disciplinary action, including removal.
