Our Story

Founded by Keshe’a Cochran, Daughters Who Speak was birthed from personal pain, transformed into purpose. As a survivor of spiritual abuse, Keshe’a understands the deep wounds and confusion that come from being harmed by someone you trusted to guide your soul. Her journey through silence, struggle, and eventually, healing, ignited a calling to reach other women walking the same path.

What began as a whisper of healing became a bold movement of restoration. Daughters Who Speak is more than an organization—it’s a sisterhood, a sanctuary, and a declaration that you are not alone.

We exist to amplify voices that have been silenced, provide a safe space for healing, and empower women to reclaim their identity, faith, and future.

A Message from Our Founder

Founder Keshe’a Cochran
Hello, I’m Keshe’a Cochran, Founder of Daughters Who Speak.

First, I want to say — I believe you. If you’re here, it’s likely because you’ve experienced something painful, confusing, and isolating — especially in a place or relationship that was supposed to be safe.

I know that pain. I know what it feels like to finally speak your truth.

Daughters Who Speak exists for women just like you and me — women who were groomed under the guise of discipleship.

This is a safe place. A sacred place.

You are not alone. I hear you. I see you. And I believe you!

With hope and healing,
Keshe’a Cochran
